The ADB-HoB Project is likely to commence soon Posted: 28 Jun 2015 09:39 PM PDT Between Frebruary  to April 2015, Director of Ecosystem Services and Conservation Areas (DESCA) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has introduced the ADB –HoB Project (TA 8331-INO) to the relevant stakeholders in the District of Kapuas Hulu of the Province of West Kalimantan and the District of Malinau of the Province of North Kalimantan.  Similar activities have also been done in the of office of DESCA  for the stakeholders at the National level. Responds from the stakeholders both in the districts and the national levels appeared to be positive and supportive. Nonetheless, most if not all the stakeholders requested that the Project be cooperative and synergize with the current similar initiative to the HoB.   The Project on the other hand is now in the stage of selecting the final consultants and expecting to be commencing in June 2015. On the way to the District of Malinau, the Project was able to record some of the beautiful natural spot of tropical forest within the HoB area in the Province of North Kalimantan.   All the pictures showing tropical forest above the Districts of Malinau and Tana Tidung of North Kalimantan.
